A little history on me. I am a retired US Army Infantryman. I have been shooting and teaching the shooting of ARs for over 20 years. Today I finally had the pleasure of getting to the range worth my wife's UDMC S5. This was the first time that I have had the chance to shoot the S5 with 14.5 Stainless barrel and a mid-length gas tube. I made a couple of mods and did put in a Geissele SSA trigger.

This combination made for the smoothest shooting ARs that I have had the pleasure of shooting. I was able to zero in the TA31F-G ACOG in the standard 18 rounds. After it was zeroed, we did some fun pew, pew, pews. Follow up shots were a breeze with the mid-length gas tube. I am looking forward to getting back to the range to get the BUIS dialed in and for some more CQM.
